Impressive Palin Fundraising A Good Sign for 2012 Presidential Campaign
As evidence of the growing support for Governor Sarah Palin it was announced SARAHPAC (Her political action committee.) raised $2.1 million for 2009. This figure is astounding in that Palin did little in terms of active fundraising. This first seven months of the year she served as Governor of Alaska and ended the year on her extended book tour.
These fundraising numbers mean thousands of small donors back her populist message. It’s also likely these numerous donations were generated from Americans who appreciate she so graciously withstood the slings and arrows from the liberal left who rightfully fear her popularity.
Her potential 2012 Presidential rivals, Governors Mitt Romney and Tom Pawlenty, raised roughly $800,000 more and less respectively than Palin. Considering they were at it full time and Palin not at all make her fundraising total all the more impressive. (The report that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich raised over $6 million dollars last year is misleading. His organization is not a PAC subject to federal donation limits.)
Its clear evidence, despite the never ending media onslaught against her, Sarah Palin will have the Its support and donations essential for a successful Presidential campaign. We hope Sarah is watching and listening and realizes the hope sand dreams of millions of Americans are invested in her political future. A 2012 Palin candidacy will be an electrifying political event and a chance to place ‘one of the people’ in the White House. Stay tuned!
