Sarah Palin Makes Triumphant Return to Central Florida Today
Sarah Palin makes a triumphant return trip to central Florida today for an evening speech held by the Orange County Republican Party. Just a month ago her appearance at a Daytona, Florida event was so popular that a larger venue had to found to match demand for tickets.
Lew Oliver, Chairman of the Orange County Republican says it’s no accident top politicians show up in the critical Interstate 4 corridor. Since the 2000 Presidential election, and in statewide elections since, this area has provided the critical swing votes to the winner. Chairman Oliver noted, “I’d like to think that we are king makers here in Orange County. It certainly makes us feel better about life.”
He also expects an enthusiastic welcome for Sarah Palin who waived her usual speaking fee to help raise funds for the party and candidates. “She appeals to people as a normal person, a next door neighbor, someone that strikes you as real”, said Oliver . We agree!
