The liberals at NPR seem to worry Sarah Palin isthe 'real deal' who will defeat 'their Obama' in 2012. So, it seems they've decided to back Romney over Palin. Pretty typical.

National Public Radio (NPR) who rarely provides any coverage to Governor Sarah Palin took note of her ability to raise large sums of money from small donors.

They turned it into a commentary on the 2012 Presidential prospects between Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin.

Like so much else on NPR it seems to wrap ’serious sounding reporting’ against a back drop of liberal wishful thinking.

The liberal media is getting worried they were wrong about Sarah Palin all along.  It sounds like they are beginning to sweat.  As they sweat…millions-upon-millions rejoice that we may have the chance to elect ONE OF US as President in 2012.

Right now this serves her well and no doubt Governor Palin understands she’ll need more tightly drawn speeches once a national Presidential campaign is underway.

Sarah Palin hit a rhetorical speed bump last week when she misplaced the geographical location of Ronald Reagan’s Alma Mater, Eureka College in Illinois.

As usual the media has had a field day with this though they never  feel compelled to print anything else she said in her speech about the dangers of the Obama Administration.

However, let’s get back to Eureka College for just a moment.  One of  Ronald Reagan’s greatest human traits was an ability to graciously laugh at himself and therefore not take himself too seriously.  The wonderful film clip below from 1974 does in fact end with a joke about Eureka College.

It remains a disgusting spectacle the media will allow Obama to say things daily which are not accurate and yet never submit him to ‘fact checking’.  His everyday speeches, performed it seems only to gratify his ego, are rife with error.  Yet, the liberal media lets him move along with rarely a discouraging word.  President Obama, as we know, is thin skinned and takes his self-belief in personal greatness way too seriously.

Thankfully Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin are like most Americans who understand the value of self-deprecation while they seek to lift others.  Please enjoy the video and note the ending joke about Eureka College.  (For those of a younger generation, comedian Jonathan Winters mentions riding a bus with legendary movie and TV actor Fred MacMurray.  In those days the popular MacMurray made TV commercials for the Greyhound Bus Company.)

This latest attack by POLITICO.com on Governor Palin using Hitler as a club is something which should bring swift condemnation and we might wonder why Mitt Romney has not spoken out in Sarah’s defense.

Over the weekend POLITICO.com attempted to engender violence against Sarah Palin and her family.  They did so with a blatant lie of a headline on a story linking Sarah Palin with Adolph Hitler.

This is a dangerous type of personal animosity to Palin that continues on their website week-after-week.  This instance was reprehensible and someone at that operation should be fired.

POLITICO twisted a story in which Governor Palin likened Obama policies to socialism and government over-reach into every facet of American life.  In saying this, Palin joined a distinguished list of Americans who have warned of the dangers of Obama Administration.  Communist and Socialist leaders within the last century (Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro) have all practiced the policies Obama and his liberal media boosters champion.

However, the POLITICO headline was that Palin agreed with Hitler.  No doubt this was just a further attempt to demean her but also chip away at her growing support among those who value our  alliance with Israel.  Yet, in a world known for extremist views and absolute nut-cases who are swayed by lying headlines alone, POLITICO’s radical headline writers are beneath contempt.

POLITICO.com is playing a dangerous game.  They are an influential web site with the Washington/New York/Hollywood elite.  They buy access to White House personalities by providing members of this dysfunctional Administration positive coverage and wine and dine with their friends in the radical left establishment.  Yes, they also make an occasional appearance on FOX. but in reality the are a shameless mouthpiece for the old guard including some who favor former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.  They never let a moment pass to write inaccurate headlines about Sarah Palin or publish unflattering photos.

Make no mistake, all these actions are designed to drive Palin’s poll numbers down. We must redouble our efforts in her support if we hope to battle those who seek to defeat or incite violence against her.

Sadly, the REGISTER columnist decided to ‘take a rhetorical shot’ at Sarah Palin.  But, as is happening with growing frequency, one of Sarah’s fervent supporters arose to her defense.  Below is the portion of the REGISTER column mentioning Palin and then the Letter to the Editor:

“Whitman means more than just money and electability for the GOP. Meg is a smart, strong woman with immense stature. While the party’s most recent female trailblazer and opinion leader, Sarah Palin, possesses hockey-mom qualities and easily relates to many average Americans, she is polarizing and doesn’t appeal to voters across the aisle. Meg Whitman brings a serious tone and a persona that transcends party.”

Dear Editor: I don’t know why people have to bring up Sarah Palin’s name in a negative way. The woman is fighting a battle for this country. Moderate ain’t gonna cut it. She actually has strong beliefs, unlike most politicians. I like Meg Whitman, but you cannot compare the two. Palin is the General. Whitman is a foot soldier. Together, they will put this country back on the right track.

The lesson of this story is for all supporters of Sarah Palin to take a stand every time you get a chance to defend her!

However, now that his ‘leadership’ has all but killed NEWSWEEK, Meacham is using a Palin cover story to boost circulation.

The magazine is up for sale but so far no takers. Perhaps Meacham feels Sarah will sell a few more magazines which is likely. We see it as highly ironic.

No doubt the story will attempt to mislead about Sarah’s positions and statements and attempt to brand her as only a heroine to Evangelicals…but at least she’s on the cover.  And more than that…while NEWSWEEK is on its way down…Sarah is on her way up.

PALIN 2012: 

THE HUFFINGTON POST: Known as one of the least credible of the radical left wing web sites…but loved by the elitist folks…HP foolishly jumped into the far-fetched campaign  to deny Sarah her program on the Discovery Channel.  Radical environmental groups (all seeking to raise funds) have attempted to create a tempest in a tea pot.  However, the HUFFINGTON POST actually posted a story from unnamed sources who said Discovery Channel advertisers ‘chuckled’ and ‘rolled their eyes’ at the very thought of Sarah’s Alaska program.  Now, they also say no HP reporter was actually in the room with the advertisers but were told this by a source.  How amazing huh that HP would just happen to know some ‘alleged leaker’ in the Discovery Channel corporate headquarters who would feed them info about SARAH PALIN…the one conservative they hate the most.  Just when you think a new low cannot be reached the left digs dipper into the gutter.

LATEST POLLS: Polling still indicates opportunity for the GOP to pick up House and Senate seats in November.  Polls of likely voters (RASMUSSEN) look very promising while polls of registered voters (GALLUP) look less rosy but consistent.  The key is volunteer effort and turnout.  If  conservatives simply think we will win and don’t participate in campaigns we will fall short.  If the high energy levels are sustained we can gain significant numbers of House seats and depose Pelosi.  SARAH PALIN is setting the standard for energy appearing all over the country on behalf of candidates and conservative causes.  If she can do it…we can.

How many times can you declare someone ‘politically dead’ and then keep covering them with such worried fervor?

PALIN PANIC on the part of national media pundits is sometimes amusing to watch.  I mean, how many times can you declare someone ‘politically dead’ and then keep covering them with such worried fervor?

However, we supporters of Governor Palin need to be aware the media is now attempting to label her ‘unelectable’.  This manifests itself in many ways. 

Some of this is repeating interviews with one or two people at her recent New Orleans speech who say they ‘love her’ but she can’t be elected.  (Of course what is not repeated were the hundreds of people in New Orleans who support her and want her to run.)

The repetition of anti-Palin comments this past ten days has been remarkable…sort of like repeating the same baseball score from a game two weeks ago as ‘news’.

Similarly, the always laughable ABC NEWS/WASHINGTON POST polls allegedly found high negatives for Palin’s electability about two months ago.  Since that time nearly EVERY left wing talking head, elitist columnist and network anchor have repeated the poll. 

Again, in the political world ABC/WASHINGTON POST polls are always considered a ‘joke’.  For years these polls have over-sampled liberal Democrats and under-sampled conservative Republicans to affect a pre-determined result.  Of course, busy voters have long forgotten the results by Election Day when proof surfaces of how fraudulent they are.

Unfortunately though, some people on our side of the political spectrum are buying into this ‘concern’ Palin could not defeat Obama.  They forget the object of scorn and derision heaped upon Ronald Reagan when he waged Presidential campaigns in 1976 and again in 1980. 

If we can assure Sarah Palin her patriotic political army will be with her no matter what comes her way…we believe she will run and have no doubt she will defeat Obama in 2012. We hope you agree.

Well, we all know the result of the 1980 election and the subsequent history changing years of the Reagan Administration.  More reliable polls taken in the past three months have Sarah Palin running anywhere from 2-to-13 points behind Obama in head-to-head matchups. 

It’s also true polls this far ahead of the 2012 election are somewhat meaningless.  We do not know what national and international forces will be in play during that election year.  However we already know something very important about the dynamics for 2012: Sarah Palin get under the skin of Barack Obama.

This point is very important because much like President Jimmy Carter and the liberal media in 1980…they will fall into the trap of ridiculing an opposing candidate who connects directly to the majority of conservative voters in our nation.  We’ve seen Obama is nearly incoherent when he is directly challenged.  Sadly, none of the other potential candidates has shown any courage in taking the President on as Palin has.  In a debate, she will tie him in knots.

However, Reagan connected with the public with common sense conservatism and humor. Within 48 hours voters moved into his camp in droves and he demolished Carter in a landslide.

But, the debates are a show for another day.  What we must all do today is combat this idea of un-electability.  We need to remind our friends, family and business colleagues Palin can prevail just as Ronald Reagan did.

So, let us steel our spines and fight back against those inside the White House and network newsrooms attempting to politically ‘kill’ Sarah Palin before she gets started for 2012.

American patriot Thomas Paine wrote of his concern the American Revolution could be sustained. He caustically labeled “summertime soldiers” and “sunshine patriots” who are with you only when things go but fade away when things go poorly.

The success of a Palin Presidential campaign is in our hands.  We need to assure Sarah if she decides to enter this battle that we will be the courageous soldiers who will not cut and run when challenged. 

Fortunately, Paine’s concerns were heard and the challenge of the American Revolution was won. 

 If we can assure Sarah Palin her patriotic political army will be with her no matter what comes her way…we believe she will run and have no doubt she will defeat Obama in 2012.

Regular readers of our blog are aware a private foundation supporting one of the California State colleges contracted with Governor Palin to speak at their 50^th Anniversary dinner to raise money for the school, students, scholarships etc.  The event sold out immediately just like they do wherever Palin speaks.

But instead of accepting the right of a private foundation to invite anyone they wish, a discredited California legislator from San Francisco, along with radical left faculty members, has been agitating with some students to turn this into a political embarrassment for Sarah Palin.  Naturally the usual  media culprits have piled on without so much as a glance at the facts of the story but instead repeat rumors, lies and ‘quote’ from documents allegedly retrieved from a campus dumpster.

When it became evident the two faculty members and a handful of students had failed to prevent Sarah Palin, for political reasons, for speaking on behalf of their college — the media helped these malcontents wage a nonsensical case against Palin unrelated to the facts.  No doubt this all sounds familiar to all Sarah Palin supporters.

First of all the California legislative member, and political friend of Nancy Pelosi, is Sen. Leland Yee.  He is little more than a far-left gadfly who helped preside over the pending financial collapse of the state of California.  But, that’s not all.  Mr. Lee, now an American citizen but Chinese by birth, attended college at UC BERKLEY which would account for many of his radical views.  He represents a politically carved out district in San Francisco and served on the School Board there at one time. 

Over the years, however, Senator Lee has engaged in questionable conduct:  Three police encounters over cruising for prostitutes in San Francisco’s Mission District, a 1993 shop lifting incident, and an investigation found that Lee’s taxpayer owned computers were the source for repeated attempts to re-write Lee’s WIKIPEDIA biography to exclude his legal problems and build up his reputation.

None of these allegations about Lee are mentioned in the elitist news coverage and particularly not by Andrea Mitchell as she is one who always deals in fiction over fact.  Ms. Mitchell is truly one of the most professionally repugnant media types who slander Palin with dishonest reporting on her daily program and Tweets.  Obviously, Ms. Mitchell is threatened by a woman of commanding personal achievement like Governor Palin.

The latest fiasco in this story is the ‘breathless discovery’ by a couple of students (the same ones who appeared with Bill O’Reilly a few weeks ago and could not articulate that their opposition to Palin was anything but political) that they found incriminating portions of Palin’s speaking contract in a school dumpster.  Imagine that huh!  Out of thousands upon thousands of pages of trash a university might produce in a week, the ‘leaders of the anti-Palin group’ jump into one dumpster and find an alleged copy of the Palin contract.  Now, any reasonable person (or reporter) would look upon this with great skepticism.  But no, they have run with this story, and NBC featured it this morning on TODAY in order to embarrass Palin. 

This is an old trick of course.  You pretend you have a ‘real’ document so that the subjects of the phony ‘controversy’ have to produce the real documents to disprove it.  Hopefully, Governor Palin will not take the bait.  Unfortunately, the media is running this story to continue their attempts to destroy Sarah Palin in the eyes of independent voters.

To add insult to injury, California Attorney General Jerry Brown, the state’s Governor back in the 1970’s and now incredibly running again for that office, is also making the Palin, the dumpster papers and fund raising a political issue for him.

Like REAGAN, grace, grit, courage, good humor and patriotic determination under fire. Go Sarah 2012!

Naturally any fair minded person would be outraged by all of this and understand character assassination when they see it.  But, we know the media and we know the fear they have of SARAH PALIN but these increased baseless attacks are troubling.  We’ll keep you posted.

In Washington the pundits believe the college degree you hold, and from which school, determines your fitness for office.  This includes the supposedly conservative know-it-all commentators such as GEORGE WILL and DAVID BROOKS who routinely savage Sarah Palin.  In doing so, they sacrifice personal integrity for acceptance by their ever so clever colleagues and cocktail party goers in New York and Washington.

A recent column by George Will, in which he quoted the always laughable ABC/WASHINGTON POST polls, suggested Sarah Palin would bomb as a candidate.  Of course, this is the same crew who told us she’d bomb in the debates, her book would not sell and that she was finished as political entity when she left office in Alaska.  In response, some very thoughtful readers of the NEW YORK POST rose to her defense and we present these wonderful letters below.  It is a welcome reminder that the American people understand that all the supposed know-it-alls in Washington have bankrupted our country and drowned us in bureaucracy.  It’s time someone with the common sense of Sarah Palin took over.

Will apparently has changed his mind about the virtues of experience.  When Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were competing for the Democratic nomination for the presidency, Will wrote that experience is overrated. After all, Abraham Lincoln had served only one term in Congress before his election to the presidency, while his predecessor, James Buchanan, was the most experienced man in politics at the time. Buchanan is generally regarded as one of our worst presidents  Will apparently regards Palin as an intellectual lightweight. But she has never committed a gaffe as great as our current vice president who once said that when the stock market crashed in 1929, Franklin Roosevelt went on television to explain what happened.  — Sarah, Brooklyn

I don’t think Will read Palin’s book, “Going Rogue,” because he would be able to see how determined this woman is. Palin left her job as governor because she saw a need to be more involved in our country’s welfare.  Now she is getting recognized as a prominent person in politics with common sense and a brain. People know of her ability and fear her, and the attention she is getting by being in the public eye.  Palin tells it like it is, and more and more Americans are seeing the real Sarah Palin.
